Rip (The Amalgamated’s charismatic lead singer) proposed to his girlfriend, Celestina, tonight at a show I was unfortunately unable to attend. The band opened for the amazing Hepcat. Rip and Celestina met 3 years ago at a Hepcat show and he wrote this song about her. I’m really happy for the two of them. Rip is a fantastic, admirable guy, and Celestina is an amazingly nice woman and they complement each other very well. I can’t wait to congratulate them in person.

There are many indicators of a good show. Having 5 encores is one of them. People loved us so much the bar had to kick us out. Some girl may have just shoved my face into her cleavage in appreciation.

Still a qoute I’m trying to live by.
I may not be the person I want to be today, but I’m definitely not the person I was even a month ago. Just got to remind myself that any step forward, however small, is still a step forward.
Headed out to The Ruby Room for what should be another great performance.
My parents came out to my show today and saw The Amalgamated play for the first time (they won’t go to bars), and my dad recorded most of my solo in Little Suede Shoes. One of my better ones.
